Basic Pistol Course:
Thank you and your crew So much for our instruction this weekend. Before Saturday, my fiance was SCARED to be around guns. Even when we were hiking behind or around ranges on established trails, the noise would freak her out. Today, she got to shoot the 22, and later on, a few rounds thru the 9mm beretta. Now, her biggest concern is not whether she is scared but with respect to which handgun she should buy.
Excellent course for everyone novice to experienced.
Emphasis on serious responsibility inherent in pistol possession and use. Also, the hands-on training in the form of practical exercises. Appreciated the willingness of instructors to take questions and go “overtime” with the schedule. Leaves me with the impression that the instructors teach, not only to earn an income, but because of their interest and passion for firearms instructing.
I would be remiss if I did not say again how great the course was last weekend. You, Mike, and Mike put together training that was not only full of meaningful content but was presented in a manner that held student interest. I will certainly recommend the course to others here at work and will certainly be seeing you in other courses that you conduct.
Range Safety Officer Course:
Wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and Judi for an enjoyable long day. I have had many of these in my past and never look forward to them. However, your style of instructing was pleasant and the team teach approach worked to keep me in focus. I certainly appreciate all that you do for scouts and leaders alike. I know it is an ‘total’ investment (much more than time and money) and you wear it well.
Just wanted to let you and Judy know I appreciate all the time and effort you put into not only training us but working with us as we stand up the shooting sports program for Troop 1533. I know this is just a small part of your overall contribution to the NCAC Shooting Sports program, and Evan is fortunate to have you on the committee.
The instructors covered the material well while meeting the various experience levels of the students.
